Harris was a very small hare(野兔) with very big feet. "Why do I have such big feet, Grandpa?" Harris asked. "All hares have big feet, Harris. I will show you 1 ," said Grandpa.

Grandpa hopped(单脚跳) 2 into the air. Harris copied(模仿) it. He kept practicing over and over again until he could hop as high 3 Grandpa. Then Grandpa took Harris up to the 4 of the mountains. He told Harris, "With your big feet, you can hop to the top of your world."

Grandpa taught Harris lots of life 5 . For example, he taught Harris how to 6 a cool resting place in the earth when the days were hot. One summer afternoon, they stopped to 7 the grass. Harris shouted happily, "Look, Grandpa! My feet can 8 me away from the hot sun! I'm so 9 to have such big feet." As time went by, he got to know the10 of his feet.

One day Grandpa noticed a wolf looking closely at them from a distance (从远处). He kept cool and spoke 11 to Harris, "The most important thing about your big feet is they can 12 you to run very fast." Harris began to run and didn't stop 13 he heard the howl (嚎叫) of the wolf. "Grandpa, why aren't you running with me?" Harris ran back and 14 sadly.

"Little Harris, I'm growing old. It's time for you to learn to live in 15 own world."

Harris kept Grandpa's words in mind and he believed his big feet would take him to the end of the world.

Ma Chengpeng's family has been named "the most beautiful volunteer family in Beijing".

Ma and his wife(妻子) Hu Aixiang moved to Beijing in 

2003. Since then, they have spent much time volunteering to help others. By doing so, they show gratitude to those who have helped them since they came there. Their daughter, Ma Han, and son, Ma Xunrui, have followed their example and become volunteers.

During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics, all of the family served as city volunteers. They took turns providing services at city volunteers'stations. For example, they handed out brochures (宣传册) to people to help them learn the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics.

"Grandma, may I help you take some photos with the mascots (吉祥物), Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon?" Ma Han asked an elderly woman who was visiting Ditan Park. The elderly woman wanted to take photos with the sculptures (雕像) of the mascots. But the sculptures were too big and it was difficult for her to take nice photos by herself. Ma Han noticed her and quickly gave help. She has been named "the most beautiful volunteer" and a "five-star volunteer" in Beijing. She has taken part in many kinds of volunteer activities during the past 10 years.

Ma Xunrui was born a few months after the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Now he is happy to join his parents and sister in being a city volunteer. "I used to be shy. Now I'm becoming more outgoing. I'm not afraid to talk to strangers (陌生人)anymore," the boy said.

Red Nose Day is a famous event in the UK. On this day people usually buy red noses (wear). The money made by (sell) noses goes to a charity called Comic Relief. Comic Relief raises money to help people living a hard life across the UK  Africa.

The first Red Nose Day  (be) on February 5th, 1988. The famous comedian Lenny Henry came  with the idea. In  (he) opinion(看法), the power of entertainment(娱乐的力量) could bring people together to make a difference to the poor.

Red Nose Day takes place(举行) every two years in spring. On the evening of Red Nose Day, a BBC TV program will show some of the money-raising  (event) of the day. It also reports (报道) the money will be spent and people can also watch videos of the charity events on   Internet.

The 2023 Red Nose Day was on March 17th. It helped to raise lots of money. The money helped the poor  in some poor villages.
