"Well, we were doing our fun run. Jai was running really fast at the end of the race and not looking where he was going. Then bang! He hit the ground. It was lucky I didn't fall on top of him! There was blood everywhere!"

Yesterday, a badly injured ten-year-old child was rushed to hospital after an accident in a fun run at a local school. The fun run event is part of a fitness programme being run at Clara College to improve the health of children at the school. The event began on the playground, went into a park at the back of the school, and finished under trees near the school office block. Late in the race, Jai

Smith, a student at the school, fell down because of a rock. "I was just running as fast as I could even while I was passing the finishing line, and just fell over the rock, "Jai told our reporter Jack. An interviewed teacher at the scene (现场) said, "We had checked the whole racing course for the run just before the gun went off. It looks like a rock was put there just after we checked. ""Young Jai had a good chance of winning before he was hurt, "he said.

Benjamin: John, you were announced as one of the winners of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. How are you feeling now?

John: I'm very grateful to have that honour, but I'm the same person as I was before.

Benjamin: Well, at 97 you are the oldest Nobel winner. Somebody tells me that you're still in the lab every day researching and working. Is that true?

John: Yes, I'm still working. What should I do? Should I just retire (退休) and wait to die? No, I don't think so,

Benjamin: Before, did you think that your research would lead to where you are now?

John: No, I really didn't. I couldn't predict(预测) it. But I'm very pleased that it's useful for society.

Benjamin: What questions are left to answer for lithium-ion batteries, as you can see?

John: How do you make them safer? How do you make them last longer? I know that we live in a throwaway society and people don't want things to last too long, but I like to make things with a long life: I think we need to protect Mother Earth.

Hello, listeners. Welcome to Henton Hospital Radio. Before our music programme begins, I'm going to repeat (重复) some of our hospital rules.

The hospital can hold 800 patients. There are 8 beds in each ward (病房). The visiting hours are in the' afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 and in the evening from 7:00 to 8:00. But remember only two visitors at a time, Sorry about that, but you can see what would happen if we didn't have these rules.

The other rules are about our time schedule (时间表). We start quite early- you might not be used to that. We wake you up at 6 o'clock, and breakfast is at 8 o'clock, lunch at noon. There's tea at 3:30 and supper is at 6 o'clock.

You can see the "No Smoking" sign-- we don't allow smoking in the wards. I 'm sure you understand why. However, if you do need to smoke, there are some smoking rooms for you,

You will find the radio switch(开关) on the wall near your bed, with your own headphones, if you want to listen. It's our own hospital radio. Wish you a quick recovery(康复).

The famous director of a big and expensive film decided to film a beautiful sunset1the sea, so that people could see the man and woman players in front of 2 at the end of the film as they said goodbye to each other. He3 a group of men out one evening to film the sunset for him.

What can we do to improve our online studies?

Do you like listening to the radio? I did when I (be) young. I grew up with the radio.

I remember my grandparents (have) a small black radio when I was a little child. Every day at 6:00 pm we began (listen) to stories and had supper. There was a very long story, but we could only hear a small part of it- just thirty (minute) every day. It might take a few months (finish) all of the story. We listened to the story every night never got tired of it. But as I grew older, I seemed (be) interested in TV. So I wanted to watch news reports TV. Now I don't want to listen to the radio anymore. However, my grandparents still listen to We have to have the radio and TV on at the same time. I watch TV and they enjoy (listen) to their stories on the radio.
