It's many people's dream to travel around the world, and Cory Lee has already done it.  

 Cory's traveling journey started early 21  his life. Although he has to stay in a wheelchair because of his illness, Cory went on his first trip to Disney World 22  he was four. At the age of 15, he 23  abroad for the first time with his mother, and since then he has shown great interest in traveling.  

The fearless young man never lets his wheelchair stop him from doing 24 . After visiting 37 countries all over the world, Cory just became 25 first traveler in a wheelchair to visit every continent (洲)! "I understand that not everything is surely going to be possible，" he said. "But if you have made up your mind to do 26 and keep positive (积极的), you'll make it. "

 It took 27  research and planning for Cory to prepare for his trips, which he said was plenty of work. That's what inspired him 28  Curb Free with Cory Lee, a website where he shares ideas with other disabled 29 . He also wrote a book for children—Let's Explore with Cor Cor. It tells a story about a boy who travels to different countries in his wheelchair. As you can imagine, many children 30  by his story.  

 Just in his own way, Cory shows the world that where there's a will, there's a way.  

Before I went to Chiang Rai，I had been travelling around Thailand with six good friends. We had 1 wonderful time. They all had to go back home on the seventh day. 2 I had decided to stay for another week in Thailand. I had never spent longer time in a foreign country than before. 3  was!

After seeing my friends off at the airport，I felt a little sad. It took me three 4 from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. I felt very lonely on the way. It was the first time that I had ever been alone while travelling abroad. The thought of loneliness 5  my heart. 

After a short nap打盹），I arrived in Chiang Rai. There was no taxi in sight. I had no idea how 6  to my hotel. 

I'm sure the look of worry showed on my face. 7  ，a police officer called a taxi for me. A smile came across my face with the kindness of this stranger. And as I climbed into the taxi，the driver offered to drive for free. I 8 by their kind actions. 

As I walked into the hotel，I was greeted with beautiful smiles 9  . Sitting alone in my room，I started to plan my trip around Chiang Rai. I took a rest and set10 the next morning with a smile on my face. I was deeply moved by strangers' kindness. 

Suzy is visiting the Koala House（考拉馆） in the Featherdale Wildlife Park with her parents now. This park is in the west of Sydney. Many visitors are in the park from different countries. The koala is an Australia animal. It 1  gray and brown fur （皮毛）. And the fur on 2  belly （腹部） is white. Koalas3  and sleep in eucalyptus trees （桜树）. They almost never get down4  trees. They are active at night and sleep during the day. Now the visitors can see some koalas in the trees and they5  . People often think that koalas are6  animals because they look very cute, But they7  scratch （乱抓） people if they are not happy. They have sharp claws（利爪）. So please8  friendly to them. In the past, koalas were often hunted （猎获） because of their beautiful, soft and thick fur. Now they are a protected species and it's illegal （非法的） to hunt them. We need koalas9  other animals, and they are our dear10  !

Children always like to play together.A group of boys went out to play on1  sunny day and they found a big tree. "How tall it is!It will be exciting to climb to the top!"a boy said.

Then they stood around the tree and decided2  a game to see who could climb to the top of it first.Their3 sat not far away and they were watching their children while enjoying the sunshine.

One of the climbers was an 8﹣year﹣old boy named Daniel.He wasn't as4  as other boys.Actually，he was the shortest kid in the group.5 thought he would win.Then the game started.All of the boys tried6  best to climb as quickly as they could.To everyone's surprise，although Daniel7  slower than others in the beginning，he reached the top first in the end.

Daniel's mother was very proud after the game.She said to Daniel， "My boy，you really surprised me.I wonder8 ."

"It was easy，"Daniel said."The other children kept looking down as they were climbing.9 they realized how high they were，they were afraid of falling off the tree.I，however，looked only10  .I climbed fast because I wasn't afraid.I kept going higher and higher until I got to the top."

It is true in life that if we just keep going forward without looking back，we can achieve our goals （目标）.

Many teenagers have hobbies.But sometimes these can take them too much time，and parents might worry 1  their success at school.Teenagers often think they 2  be allowed to practice their hobbies as much as they want.Do you agree？

Sanfu, also called China's "dog days of summer", refers to three 10-day periods that normally have 1 days of the year. In English, the dog days of summer—also known as the hot, humid(潮湿的) and uncomfortable summer days 2 July 3 and August 11— are upon us. Many believe that this time 3 the "dog days" because it is so hot, even dogs are panting(喘息) from the heat. In fact, the term "dog days" came from the ancient Greeks referring to the dog star, Sirius.

San means "three" in Chinese with Sanfu covering the three periods of fu days. In Chinese, fu means to hide. The word is also a suggestion for the people to "hide" at home when the heat outdoors 4 too intense(强烈的).

 As early as the Qin Dynasty, people 5  to spend several days in a special way. In ancient books of Han dynasty, the celebrations of people enjoying nice food and drinking alcohol together during Sanfu time were recorded. 

6 an old saying popular in Northern China goes, "Have dumplings for Toufu, noodles or Erfu, baked pancake and fried eggs for Sanfu. " Noodles are especially popular at the hottest times, because 7 can help people sweat(流汗) and let go of too much energy. During Sanfu time, it's also good 8 food which is cold in nature like watermelon and cucumber.

There is also 9 Chinese saying, "In winter, keep exercising during the coldest days. In summer, do the same thing during the hot days. " No matter how hot the weather is, we should exercise, but try to avoid 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, we'd better 10 to exercise in the morning.

Jim, a successful businessman, told an experience of his childhood. 

When he was 12, his parents died. He was alone and didn't get on well with 1 . No one showed kindness to him. People always laughed 2 him. His only friend was a dog named Bobby. He gave his dog enough to eat and drink, 3 he was a little rude to it sometimes.

He saw 13 but a dirty boy. He washed his face carefully. After that, he saw a nice clean boy. From then on, he started a new life.

At the beginning of the new school year, every child was given a job. It was 1  most exciting thing for the children in the class. As some jobs were more interesting than 2 , the children hoped to get one of the best. Rita was a kind and quiet girl. Last year she got the best job to look after the class dog. She did it 3 .

There was a king who loved art. One day an artist came and hoped to paint a picture on 1  wall. The king happened to have a big new hall built 2  he allowed the artist to work on one of the walls.

At the same time, 3 artist came and asked to work on the opposite wall. He promised to make the same picture as the first artist's without 4 at it. He asked to have a thick cloth 5 can be put up between the two walls so that neither of them could see each other.

Kids are kids, no matter where they live. On fine spring days, you find them outside looking for games to play. It's the nature of being young. 

1 the game of marbles (弹珠) for example. From villages in deepest Africa to towns along the China Sea, youngsters have been playing a version of this traditional game for 2  years. 

There are many reasons 3  make the game of marbles so popular. It's easy to play and requires no equipment. Both the rich and the poor have 4  equal chance of winning. 5  you have at least one marble, you can get into a game.
