Do you think bears know who their brothers and sisters are？ Do you think they love them in the same way people do？

Every summer， bears eat a lot of salmon（鲑鱼）． The grizzlies（北美洲灰熊） stand in the water and use their front legs to feel the river． When they feel a salmon， they catch it with their feet， and then grab it with their teeth．

One young grizzly was having trouble． A hunter killed his mother and alsothe cub （baby bear） in the leg， so he could not fish． He tried and tried， but he never caught any salmon．

Stacy Corbin， a fishing guide in Alaska， about the cub ﹣ until he saw the cub's sister catch six salmon and put them near her brother's feet． While other cubs hunted， the sister stayed and looked after her brother． "She fed him for weeks，" says Corbin． Because of her， he lived．That really is love!

Zhang Guimei，the principal （校长） of Huaping High School for Girls，has been given the honorary title （荣誉称号） "Role Model of the Times" for girls from poor families. 

The school was the first high school in the country to  free education for girls who would otherwise （不然） have been to continue their studies after completing their nine years of education. 

Zhang to Lijiang when she was 17 to teach in the middle school in Huaping. Once，she got ill but had no money for the treatment （治疗）. the help of the people there，she got the necessary treatment. "From then on，I toldthat I must do something for those people who helped me，" Zhang said. 

Slowly，a dream of setting up a free high school for girls in Huaping in Zhang's heart. From the year of 2002，she began a six﹣year journey to look for funds （资金）. In 2008，Zhang finally set up Huaping High School for Girls at the foot of the Shizi Mountain. 

Thanks to her hard work， than 1，800 girls from poor families have entered university until now. Influenced by her，many of her students have to teach in poor areas. Now，with Zhang having got the title，education for girls from poor areas will receive more attention.

Frank is a student from Boston,America. During last winter,he went to Beijing

When we talk about reading,we probably think of eyes,because we do the reading with our eyes. we can do some reading with our ears,too. And with the development of smartphones,it's easier and easier to do some reading with our ears,such as listening to news,novels and so on. This is audio reading. We can do audio reading in many places.

Many people like doing audio reading in bed before going to sleep. They like to just lie in bed in the darkness  they fall asleep. This would be a perfect time to do some audio reading.  you read an ordinary book,the lights have to be turned on and you have to turn the pages with your hand. 

Some other people would like to do audio reading in the kitchen. For some people,it's boring to cook. So they can enjoy their time listening to the news or stories. For some others,it's interesting to cook by listening to instructions made by famous cooks.

On Monday at 2: 35 p. m. , a bus full of passengers was going to Bungalow. It was so  that you had to struggle even to get room to stand forget about a seat. 

At one stop, an old lady came on the bus. She looked tired and I thought she was not looked for also. After a few minutes, herwere shaking slightly. She was looking around to find a place. She asked a few guys to let her sit because she had a problem of arthritis (关节炎)in her knees. Nobody responded to her positively, so she was feeling helpless. 

I noticed she was facing a lot of pain and she was trying to hide it but did not. I was thinking of giving her my seat, but was fighting in my mind about why I should give her my seat. I answered it myself:Because she is old and it's my duty to help her. But I feared that this is Mumbai (孟买), where to help anybody may be dangerous. I was hesitating (犹豫)about it. 

Before I asked the lady to take my seat, an old man stood and offered her his seat. The man, who traveled his rest journey standing, had only one leg. 

I foundin an ocean of shame and guilt-why didn't I help her?My journey ended but I still regretted that I wasted my time in thinking when it was the right thing to do. 

Now I still travel by bus and have decided to never waste time in thinking to help anybody whatever it results in. I will help although it is more beneficial to actually do. 

Insomnia is a sleep disorder. People with insomnia have trouble , in that they have difficulty falling asleep, or asleep as long as desired. Insomnia is most oftenof as both a medical sign and a symptom that can accompany several sleep, medical, and psychiatric disorders characterized by a long-term difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep or sleep of poor quality. Insomnia is typically by functional impairment while awake. Insomnia can occur at any age, but it is particularlyin the elderly. Insomnia can be short-term (up to three weeks) or long term (above 3–4 weeks); it can lead to memory problems, depression, irritability and an increased risk of heart disease and automobile related accidents. 

My grandmother was born in a small village. It's the east coast of China. My grandmother often tells me the story of herlife. At that time, because of many years of war(战争), many people had to eat.

However, there were lots of pools in her , and there weresome fish in the pools. In summer she could swim with her friends in the pools, too. They always enjoyed there. Her first school was Dazhang Primary School and her  teacher was Mr Zhang. He was with her,  he was also nice to her. Fifteen yearslater, my grandmother  the village. She looked forward to a better life. 

Now my grandmother is living a comfortable life and she is very happy. 

Tom was a 16-year-old student. His father about him because he had no courage at all. Tom's father wanted his son to be a(n) man. So he decided to call on a master(大师) to train his boy. The master said to the boy's father, "You should leave son alone here. I'll make him into a real man three months. However, you can't come to see him during this period. "

Three months later, the boy's father returned. The master arranged(安排) a boxing(拳击) between the boy and an experienced boxer.

Each time the fighter struck(击打) the boy, he fell down, the boy stood up at once. Each time a punch(拳) knocked him down, the boy stood up again. Several times later, the master asked, "Now do you like your child?"

"What a shame!" The boy's father said, "I never thought he would be so knocked down. I don't have to leave him here any longer. "

"I'm sorry that's you see. Don't you see that each time he falls down, he stands up again and doesn't give up? If you want him this kind of courage, he does a good job. " Finally, the boy's father understood what the master said.

Besides learning about the  of socks, people can have some fun. There is a classroom  the museum, and they can see hand-crank(手摇曲柄的) machines. They can use these machines to make socks by . It must be an exciting and interesting experience. 

Patrick never did homework. "Too boring," he said. He played baseball and basketball instead. His teachers told him, "Patrick! Do your homework, or you can't a thing." And it's true. Sometimes he did feel like a fool. But what could he do? He hated homework.One day, Patrick's cat was playing with a little "doll". He found it wasn't a doll at all, but a man of the smallest size. The man called, "Save me! Don't give me back to that cat. I have . I will help you if you save me!"

Patrick couldn't believe how he was! Here was the answer to all of his problems. So he said, "Only if you do all my homework till the end of the term. If you do a good enough job, I can even get A's."

The little elf (精灵) kicked his legs and rubbed (搓) his hands. "All right. I'll do it."

And true to his words, that little elf began to do Patrick's homework. Sometimes he what to do and he needed help. "Help me! Help me!" he'd say. And Patrick would have to help — in whatever way.

"What does this word mean?" the elf cried while he was reading Patrick's homework. "Get me a dictionary. No, what's even better, the word and explain it to me."
