Mike is a blind man, so he can not get around by in the city like most people. But he has a friend, Robert. Robert is a guide dog. Since Mike can not see, he not go anywhere without Robert. Mike lets Robert show him the way. Robert leads Mike to different by pulling the rope（绳索）in Mike's hand. Once they arrive at a place, Robert lets Mike know by barking at him. Most of the time Robert just next to Mike and waits for him to finish his business. 

From a very young age, I thought traveling was a very  thing. I felt likefor new places to have fun. No matter I spend my vacation hiking through the trees or taking a day trip to a rock climbing gym（攀岩馆）, these are ten times more interesting for me than shopping. Many people think I love traveling because I live in a house full of boys, but in fact I only have two elder sisters. So I can't say clearly why I have a strong interest in travelling.

To be honest, being a was a good thing. I was  excited when I flew to the other side of the country. We spent the first couple of days in cities like San Francisco. And the rest of the time was spent in Yosemite National Park. We walked up and down the mountain across waterfalls . The smile never left my face. We also met manyand cute wild animals, which added more fun to the trip. It was first big hiking trip, and it got me hooked（入迷的）. Now I spend most of the time going hiking with my cousins and grandpa almost every spring and fall, and every time I have fun taking quite a few photos. 

I really enjoy travelling. Although I am only in Grade 9, I am already looking forward to my future. I'm ready to be what I want to be. I want to continue（继续） adventures and visit places I've never been before.

If people   using this much sand， it will run out in many places. For example， Vietnam may run out of construction sand by 2020， Live Science noted. 

Since people need so much sand， they are trying to mine （开采） more of it. But this is bad for the environment. Mining sand may cause beaches to  and more floods to happen in places close to the sea. Also， this will  affect the habitats （栖息地） of many plants and animals.

Let's clean up the ocean together! We all know it's important to have dreams. However, to make the dreams come  is not an easy thing. A young Dutch (荷兰的) man called Boyan enjoys working hard to make his dreams come true. 

 Boyan was 16, he went swimming in Greece. He was shocked to see  plastic (塑料的) bags than fish in the sea. Boyan made up his mind to  up the ocean. However, everyone told him that there was nothing he could do to  plastic bags from going into the ocean. But  young man didn't give up. He  several months studying plastic pollution. Finally, he came up with a science project using floating barriers (漂浮的栅栏) to collect the waste. The barriers can make the plastic bags come together  the help of natural ocean currents (洋流) and wind. What's more, the collected plastic  can be recycled and made into products or oil. 

In 2013, he set up The Ocean Cleanup. Together with scientists, engineers and volunteers, the young man is working  to clean up the ocean. This will help make our world a better place.
