This story happened in a small mountain village. One day a very big rock fell down from a nearby mountain and 1 in the middle of the road. Many people came to the road and talked about the 2 rock. Some of the 3 men tried to move it away but failed (失败). They tried to move it with ropes but it still didn't 4 .

There was 5 they could do about it. They had to change the road. At that time, a boy of 12 said, "I think I can help move the rock." "You?" they shouted. "What are you talking about?" The men all 6 the boy.

The next morning some people came into the road. "The rock has 7 !" one of them shouted. More people ran out to see. It was 8 . The rock wasn't in the road anymore. It wasn't 9 near the road. The boy stood in the road smiling. "I told you I 10 move it last night. Now you can't see it, can you?" he said.

The people all looked 11 . "You see," the boy said, "I dug a deep hole next to the rock and I dug a small incline (斜坡) up to the 12 . So the rock ran down into the hole by itself. And then I covered it 13 earth (泥土)." People shouted, "What a 14 boy!" And some of them said, "15 haven't we thought of this good idea?"

Today many people don't want to help others because they don't want any (问题). But some people are very (善良的) and ready to help others. They will try to help others when they see someone is in  (危险). My uncle is one of them.

My uncle is a taxi (司机). He is very busy every day. One day when he was driving along the street, he saw a woman (平躺) on the side of the road. A small boy next to her was (呼唤) for help. There were many people around the woman, but few of them helped her. My uncle stopped his taxi (没有) thinking twice, tried to (移动) the woman into his taxi and drove to the nearest hospital.

 (谢谢) to my uncle, the doctor was able to save the woman in time. After the woman's husband (丈夫) got to the hospital, my uncle (离开) quietly.
