Facilities

With a swimming pool for adults and teens, and a smaller one for children, our center has something for all the members of the family. Parents can relax while children play in the water. For anybody who is interested in competitive sports， our volleyball, tennis and basketball courts are the ideal place to work off stress. Whether you just want to keep in shape，lose some weight or build your strength, there's the gym with trainers to look after you and answer all your questions. They can also give you general advice about healthy eating and dieting.

Lessons

It doesn't matter if you're five or eighty-five, there's something for you at the Sunshine Sports Center! We offer personal training in all sports if you want it, but there are also group lessons for all sports if you prefer teamwork. .

Kids and teenagers

Take advantage of our special offer for younger members. For members between five and sixteen years old, there are special lessons in water polo， competitive swimming and diving. There are many classes for all levels of swimmers, with a life guard on duty from 9:00 a. m. when the pool opens until it closes at 7:00 p. m.

Social events

Sunshine Sports Center is not only for sport! You can enjoy a delicious meal at our restaurant or have a milk shake with your friends on the balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the courts. I used to think that manners were a thing of the past because seldom had I met a young man who was as kind and polite as the older generation. However, a recent experience changed my 1

Two weeks ago, I went to a coffee shop with my two 2. There were too many people there and we had to go up to the second floor to find a(n) 3 table.

After enjoying our coffee, we walked to the staircase(楼梯) which was not wide enough so there was hardly any 4 for another person to either climb up or come down. In a word， it was impossible for two people to walk side by side.

Just as I was in the middle of the stairs, a young man 5 the coffee shop through the main entrance which was right in front of the staircase. It seemed that he wanted to go 6

I was sure that I would be pushed 7 aside by this young man. I thought he would climb the stairs 8. I kept going down as fast as I could, holding on to the banister(扶手). My two daughters were already down. They looked up at me, hoping I would reach them 9 the young man walked up the stairs.

When I almost reached them, I noticed that the young man was still standing near the 10.

As my daughters and I passed by, I found that he was holding the door open. I thought that he had perhaps not decided whether to go in or to find another less 11 place.

After we walked out of the coffee shop, I 12, just seeing the young man going up the stairs, two at a time.

I told my daughters about it and 13felt good. We did not even thank the gentleman who had 14 to let us come down first and held the door open for us before he hurried to go upstairs.

It is hard to find such 15 young people these days, with so much jostling (推挤) and pushing all around us. I still remember this young gentleman and hope that our younger generation will be as courteous as him.
