l have watched many cartoons and I'd like to tell you about my favourite cartoon character (人物). He has a yellow body. He wears lovely brown clothes and he1all the time. It appears that he never feels sad. Now, you must have 2 his identity(身份). Yes, he is SpongeBob. I have loved this character for ten years. And he has brought me a lot of 3. When I'm not happy, I watch this cartoon 4it can soon make me laugh.

There are5more reasons (理由)for my love for this character. First, he is always active. When he meets 6 he always tries to solve them. He 7 runs away from problems and he always does his best to work them out.

Second, he has a big heart. When someone is in trouble, he always 8a helping hand. One day, SpongeBob met some snails (蜗牛) and they had no9. He brought all of them home. Michael Morpurgo is a much-loved writer from Britain. He was born on 5th October 1943 and grew subject at school and he studied it at university. After that, he became an officer (军官)in the army (军队), but he soon left and became a primary school teacher. French was his favorite subject at school and he studied it at university. This is when he found that he had a talent (天赋) for storytelling and soon began , writing stories for children." I could see there was magic in it for them, and realised (意识到) there was magic in it for me," he said.

Michael Morpurgo gave up teaching after 10 years and bought a farm with his wife. Together they from cities can come to spend time looking after animals.

Michael Morpurgo has written over 100 books, mostly for children. He writes about children and films or plays, including War Horse, which is now well known around the world. Another popular book is Kensuke's Kingdom. He wrote it in 1999.

Comic books (连环画杂志) are not just easy books for kids. In both the East and the West, they are now a part of our culture.

In Japan: primary school books use manga(日本漫画)to help teach lessons. What's more, a university in Kyoto has a Manga Department. Students who take a class there will have Astro Boy on their reading list. The cute robot with big eyes and black hair is still popular across the world. The artist behind Astro Boy is Osamu Tezuka, who is known as the God of Manga. He also made Black Jack, one of the first medical (医学的)comic books. Tezuka was a doctor himself, so he had the ability to make the stories lively.

Astro Boy and Black Jack started a new type for comic books in Japan. Tezuka once said that the comics were able to be more than just making people laugh.

Five years after Tezuka's death, a museum to celebrate his life and his comic art opened in his hometown. There, visitors can watch Tezuka's short films, and learn about his life. You can also see his drawings. human-sized models as well. A visit there is like watching through the pages of his comic books.

The world of comic books and magazines cannot be kept in pages. It is on movie screens, at schools, and in museums. Although you may have never opened a comic book, you may already be a comic lover.

Everyone liked watching cartoon films when they were kids. I also liked one (call) Tom and Jerry.

Tom and Jerry was created Joseph Barbera and William Hanna. It has (win) seven Academy Awards (奥斯卡金像奖) and even become the most successful cartoon in the history of cinema.

This cartoon film only had (second) main characters. One was a cat named Tom and other was a mouse. They lived in the same house. Tom had to catch all the mice and keep the house (safe). But there was a clever mouse called Jerry. He could eat the food without being caught by Tom. So the master(主人)didn't love Tom any (much). Because of this, Tom hated Jerry wanted to kill him.

But sometimes, some other animals came to their place and they made them not live well, they had to get together and discuss how to keep the animals far away from them.

The cartoon film was so interesting I loved it very much.
