There was a boy called Billy. Billy's favourite 1 was orange. But he couldn't see what orange 2.

A month after he was born, his mother 3 that his eyes weren't as big as a normal boy's." Billy would 4 be able to see. He is blind," the doctor said. Even so, with the hope to help Billy learn about the world around 5 ， his mother kept describing (描述) everything she saw to him.

Not just through his mother's words, Billy saw 6his ears and hands， too. He had perfect hearing. In fact， he 7see many things that normal(普通的) people don't notice.

Patsy was in hospital. Her friend Mary went to see her. She found her lying in bed, covered with bandages (绷带).

"Well, when I got to the hospital, the doctor gave me. some medicine to stop the pain in my leg and I fell asleep. Unfortunately, he made a mistake with my name."

"And another doctor operated(手术) on your arm!" Mary said.

"That's right," Patsy said. " But I shouldn't complain(抱怨). My own doctor was right. The walk in the park was good for me. My headache has completely gone now.

It's a class meeting. The students are talking about their personal health. Here are a few of them.

●Ann: Once I did not like sports and I was never (积极的). Sometimes I had(心脏), and a problem with my was not feeling very (健康的). But now l get (健康)by taking (宠物) for a walk every day. I feel really healthy.

●Wang Wei: I'm the first (成员)of our school girls' football team. Our teacher is an (优秀的)coach. She's in good (状况)and often takes part in the (训练) with us.  We have played football for a year, and all of us feel very fit.

●Thomas: My father used to go to work by underground, but he often felt (困的) when he got to work. Last year we bought a bike. And since (那时) riding to work has been part of his (日常的)life. Now he is healthy and always wears a smile on his face.

●Richard: I do not enjoy running. Every time I go for a run with my friends, my legs hurt and l feel hot all over. (也许) it's because I'm still too (虚弱的)to do any sports after along (疾病). What do you think?

Daming is a popular schoolboy, but last week he didn't go to school because he fell (有病的)at home. He was always (咳嗽)a lot and had a (头痛). He thought he caught a (感冒), so he went to see the doctor.

The doctor looked over Daming carefully. He took his (温度)and found Daming had a high (发烧). Then he asked Daming if (是否)he had breakfast and got (锻炼)as often as possible. To the doctor's (惊讶), Daming said, "I like sweet snacks and (快的) food. I always spend much time in front of the computer, and I sometimes have a (牙痛)and (腹部)ache. "The doctor said that was a serious (问题). He asked Daming to have breakfast everyday. Then he advised Daming not to sit before the computer for too long. It's harmful to his (健康). Finally, he gave Daming some medicine and told him to tare ate (次数)a day. Daming listened to him and agreed.

A few days later, Daming got better went to school as usual. (自……以来)that day , Daming has paid much attention doing sports. What a lovely boy!
