    Today I want to tell you something about my neighborhood.

    I live on a big street. To the left of my house is a big park. The police station is across from my house. There is a hotel to the left of the park. Between the hotel and a Japanese restaurant there is a small bank. A big supermarket is across from the Japanese restaurant.

    On weekends, my family often play sports in the park. My mother often shops in the supermarket.

Dear Julia,

    I live on a small street. My house is in the middle of the street. In front of my house there is a small supermarket. To the left of the supermarket is a library and to the right of the supermarket is a post office. Behind my house there is a small park with a few trees and a small garden (花园). At the end of the street there is a hill (小山 )with lots of trees.

    On weekends, my family often climb the hill. It takes us about 15 minutes to walk there from our house.

    Welcome to our neighborhood. Come here and have fun. I'm sure you will love it. I live with my parents in a tall building on Center Street. The street is a little long. And it's very quiet. (A)is, library, there, a, from, house, across, my. I often read books there on weekends. And it's my favorite place in the neighborhood. I also like to go to the supermarket to buy something I need.(B) There is a park between my house and the library. My friends and I often play basketball there after school. And there are so many people in the park. It's beautiful. People love it a lot. I'm in No.3 Middle School. Joe is my best friend.( C) The school is not far from my home. We usually go to school together. We walk there in the morning. North Street in front of the school is very busy. And there is a lot of traffic（路上行驶的车辆）there. So sometimes, we are late for class.

    There is a beautiful new park near Andy's home. It's fine today. Andy and his family are in the park now. On their left, there is a café. On their right, there is a big lake. There are many flowers and trees around the lake. There's a small hill behind the lake. Near the lake, there are two signs. One says," Don't swim in the lake! "The other says," No fishing! "But you can go boating on the lake. There is a beautiful garden in the middle of the park. There is green grass and beautiful flowers in it. There are some small shops between the lake and the garden. The park is so nice. Andy and his family like it very much.
