Here are the New Year's resolutions of my four friends
"My name is Dave, and I am from England. My resolution has to do health. I'm going to drink water and less cola. I'm also going to brush my teeth before breakfast and after dinner, and wash my hands eating. "
"My name is Tina, and I am from America. I want to make more (friend)this year. I'm going to be friendly those who need friends —like someone who is shy or new to my school. "
"I'm Selina, and I am from Canada. I'm going to work (hard)than last year. I (do)all the homework that our teachers ask us to do. If I have any problems with my subjects, I'm going to ask my teachers help. "
"My name is Toby, and I am from Singapore. I'm never going to play computer games any more. I feel angry or stressed, I'm going to find better ways to relax, like exercising, reading or (share) my problems with my friends. "

What do Peter and Alice want to be when they grow up? What are their New Year's resolutions?
Peter: Alice, the New Year is coming. What are you going to do? Alice: Well, I'm going to join the school band. Peter: Really? Why?
Alice: I want to play the guitar in a band. I love playing the guitar and I'm going to study in a music school when I finish high school.
Peter: Sounds great! So what are you going to do when you grow up?
Alice: Oh, a musician in a famous band, I think. What about you, Peter? What are you going to do when you grow up?
Peter: I think it's boring to play the guitar every day. I want to get an exciting job, maybe a reporter for a TV station. I want to travel around the world. In the New Year I'm going to read more. I'm going to start writing articles and sending them to newspapers.
Alice: Wow! That sounds interesting.
