March 22, 2014 Dear Aunt Emma, I was so happy to get your letter yesterday. I am heavier than you saw me last year, and I'm even the heaviest in my class now. So Mom wants me to go on a diet. Vegetables are good for my health, but meat isn't. Now I eat more vegetables but less meat and do more exercise than before. For example, I jump rope for thirty minutes every day and go swimming every weekend. By the way, I am the best swimmer in my class. I won the first prize at the swimming race last week. Dad often takes me to the beach in summer. Summer is the best season to swim. It's also my favorite season. Summer is coming. It is getting hotter and hotter. Would you like to go swimming with us when you come back to Dalian this summer? It will be fun. Of course, to me, getting taller is important, too. I am only 150 cm tall now. I'm the shortest of all the boy students in my class. Rope- jumping will help me to become taller than I am now. Hope to see you soon. Love, Jack |
In order to build a civilized city, we students should try our best to behave well in the activities.
First, it's a goodto keep our clothes clean and tidy. Also, our city should be kept clean every day. Don'tlitter (垃圾) everywhere. What's more, it's good manners to say "Thank you", "Please and so on. We should never say dirty words. Be friendly to others and always ready to help the people in need. For example, when we are on a bus, we should offer our seats to the old and the womenbabies. We should also keep traffic rules. When the traffic lights are , we should stop and wait they turn green. Last but not the least, we'd better not talk or laugh loudly in public.
If everyone behaves well, our city will be more beautiful and more attractive.
