The story was a true one and still moved me deeply. Thirty years ago, I got to know a poor lady named Rose. She had no kids and lived alone.

When I went to visit her, I always took Rose some coffee and food. One day she said she was inviting me to have lunch.

We walked from my workplace to a little restaurant on David Street.

On the way, I began to worry: I knew she had no money, but if I offered(主动提出)to pay for the lunch, I was afraid I would hurt her.

There were many people in the restaurant and all of them were happy.

Rose told me to sit and drink coffee by the window. Then she went to work in the kitchen.

After about 20 minutes, she came out and sat with me. She just paid for one meal and we started to enjoy the delicious food together.

She told me that the restaurant let people work for a meal if they had no money, or would give them a free meal if they were not able to work.

She also explained that the workers who were working there were all volunteers.

I still remember the beautiful afternoon I shared with Rose. Though we had a meal together only once, it was paid by Rose's work.

The weather was warm and bright, and everyone's smile was warm and bright as well.

I'm still thinking that life cannot be easy to us, but we can still do something for our friends and neighbors.

The world will be nicer if everybody would like to share happiness with others.

It will never be dark if there is a light in everyone's heart.

I know that you are coming to Hangzhou next week. Welcome to my home. Let me tell you the way to my house. You will live in Lily Hotel on Shuguang Road, won't you? OK! Shuguang Road is a famous and beautiful road in our city. You can start from your hotel and go straight along Zheda Road. When you see the big gate of Zhejiang University, please turn left and go along Yugu Road. It's an old street, but it's clean. There's a big park on both sides of the road. It's called Botanic Garden.

There are many different kinds of plants there. When you see many bamboo trees, please turn right and go along Qingzhiwu Road. You will pass three cafes and some restaurants. Then you can see a KFC on your left. There's a small supermarket across from the KFC and my house is near the supermarket. There's a pay phone in front of my house. You can call me there and I will go to meet you.

Welcome to this short tour of London. In this map, the square (广场)is standing in the middle of London. National Gallery is a museum with lots of great pictures at the square. Go along the red street to Buckingham Palace.

Turn left and go to the Houses of Parliament and BigBen. It takes you 135 meters above the River Thames. You can see most of London on a clear day.

When you are tired, the best way to see London is by boat. You can get the boat near Big Ben. As you go along the river, the London Eye is on your right, near the Railway Bridge.

Get off the boat at Tower Bridge. Then you can see the Tower of London next to the bridge. The Tower of London is the city's oldest palace. It is nine hundred years old.

Take the boat back along the river. Get off the boat and go past the station and walk along the street. Opposite(对面)is the old fruit and vegetable market. They don't sell fruit and vegetables now. There are stores and restaurants, and lots of street musicians. Turn left into King's Street, and go past the church. You're now back where you started, at the square. Now you finish your tour.
