I was looking at a picture recently and noticed there was something different. The frame (框架) was 1 The whole picture still looked good but I couldn't2whether or not changing the frame would make it better.
From this an interesting 3 came to mind. At times when I was4 I would spend money on clothes. Because I have a love for 5 I thought I would feel good through buying new clothes. However, the feeling was always 6 Why? Because doing this didn't 7 the real issue. What I needed to do was to pay attention to what was bothering me on the inside 8 trying to cover up my problems by making changes on the outside. I was changing the frame but the picture on the 9was still the same.
We may change the10of our hair or even buy new clothes. There is nothing wrong with doing this once or twice, but if it is being done for the wrong reasons, it may not 11 to how we really feel. If you12 there is something wrong, try to change that; this way you will truly feel better on the inside.13time with family, having a conversation with a friend, or even letting your pen write your innermost (最深处的) feelings can 14You will get true peace and joy inside 15This way, not only will you be better able to 16 your life but also display colorful images of love for others.
So17 necessary, don't just change the frame. Change the picture. Getting a new picture may be 18 and may take time; however, with 19 it can be accomplished. In the end, playing your part in building a 20 of even more fine art in this world would be worth it!
A new study suggests that the more teenagers watch television, the more likely they are to develop depression (忧郁) as young adults.
The researchers used a national long-term survey of adolescent health to survey the relationship between media (媒体) use and depression. They based their findings on more than 4,000 adolescents who were not depressed when the survey began.
As part of the survey, the young people were asked how many hours of television or videos they watched daily. They were also asked how often they played computer games and listened to the radio. Media use totaled an average of five and one-half hours a day. More than two hours of that was spent watching TV.
Seven years later, more than seven percent of the young people had signs of depression. The average age at that time was twenty-one. The researchers say they did not find any such relationship with the use of other media such as movies, video games or radio, etc. But the study did find that every extra hour of television meant an eight percent increase in the chances of developing signs of depression. Young men were more likely than young women to develop depression given the same amount of media use.
Last December, a popular magazine published a study of activities that help lead to happy lives. Researchers from the University of Maryland found that people who describe themselves as happy spend less time watching television than unhappy people. The study found that happy people are more likely to be socially active, to join in outdoor activities and to hang out with friends.

I got up early this morning, so I went to school without breakfast. I walked in so a hurry that I stepped on a banana peel dropped by an old man walk in front of me. As the result, I fell in my back. I am so angry that I wanted to blame the old man, so I controlled myself at last. I picked the banana peel, putting it into the dustbin and ran to school. The class had begun, but I was very happy because I did that what I should do to protect our environment.
My class and I visited Chris Care Center in Phoenix, Arizona to comfort the old people. The first two 1 there were for persons requiring 2 in taking care of themselves. They loved our sweet songs we sang and the flowers we gave them.
As we were 3 on the third floor for old people with Alzheimer (老年痴呆症), most of them 4 off at the walls or floor. However, one lady 5my eye. She was singing songs to herself. They weren't the songs that we were singing, at least they didn't 6 like that. As we got7with each song, she did as well. The louder we got, the louder she got.8 she was singing, she was also 9out to us with her hands and body. I knew that I should have gone over to her, but I thought that my10were to my students. People who worked at the care center could 11to her, I thought.
Just when I stopped feeling 12 about not giving her the attention she needed, one of my students, Justin, also 13 the same lady. The difference between us is that he 14 on her needs, but I didn't. Justin looked this aged lady in her15 and said, “You're important, and I will take my 16 to let you know that.” This elderly lady stopped singing and held his hand. Tears felt down her face. No 17can completely describe that touching moment.
It took a boy to 18me about kindness and love. Justin's example of a complete, selfless attitude toward another was a19that I'll never forget. He was the teacher that day, and I consider myself 20 to have witnessed his lesson.
Just 10 years ago, I sat across the desk from a doctor. “Yes,” he said, “there is something wrong with the left, upper lung. You are suffering a severe cancer. You'll have to give up work at once. Later on, we'll see.”
Feeling like a man who is in midcareer has suddenly been placed under sentence of death, I left the doctor's office, walked over to the park, and sat down on a chair. I needed to think. In the next 3 days, I cleared up my affairs, then I went home, got into bed, and set my watch to tick off not the minutes, but the months. Two years later, I left my bed and began the long climb back. It was another year before I made it.
I speak of this experience because these years that passed so slowly taught me what to value and what to believe. I realize now that each day, to me, is a precious thing. I've learned to appreciate those little things I never thought I had the time to notice before: the play of light on running water, the music of the wind.
Frequently, I sit back and say to myself, “Let me make note of this moment I'm living right now, because in it I'm well, happy and hard at work doing what I like best to do. It won't always be like this, so while it is, I'll make the most of it—and afterwards, I remember—and be grateful. I contribute all these to that long time spent on the fight with cancer.”

Two years before, I traveled to Brazil and I rented for a car. Unfortunate, I had an accident and hit another car, and I needed to stay in a hospital for at least two week. I called my parents, so I did not tell them what had happened. I knew that they will be worried about myself because I was so farther away, and that my mother would not sleep if she knew. Therefore, I told them interested stories and how I was enjoying Brazil. As a result, nobody knew truth. I still think that it was the right thing to do.

Dear Editor,
I'm writing to tell you about a food poisoning accident. Several days ago, my neighbor ate a bag of food buying from the market. After the meal, they had stomachaches and their faces turn pale. Lucky, one of their friends found the accident and immediately called an ambulance, which carried them quickly to a hospital. After several hours' treatment they finally escaped of death.
As some businessmen are only interested in making money to become rich quickly, we seldom care about the necessary safety measures or which happens to buyers. They must be have charged by law. Meanwhile, I do hope whole society can realize the important of food safety.
