A Spring Morning

　　This spring morning in bed I'm lying, 

　　Not to awake till the birds are crying.

　　This poem was written by Meng Haoran, who lived the Tang Dynasty.

It might  one of the most famous poems about spring in China. People like to  it when they wake up on a spring morning. Most  were taught to read it when they were very young.

Meng didn't say  much he loved spring directly(直接地). , he wrote about the details (细节): the birds, wind, showers and fallen flowers. His descriptions of these things showed  the joy he felt during springtime.

Meng  to write about the sounds of spring. He  the birds singing in the morning and remembered the sounds of rain and wind in the night. These sounds allow readers to picture spring using their own .
