It's true that adults (成人) can finish the chores (fast) and probably better than children, But doing chores is important for kids.(help) out around the house gives them a feeling of satisfaction. For example, they can make (they) bed or sweep the floor. This helps them realize they're part of the team. A study shows that children who do chores at home will depend on(依靠) their parents less than others in the future. They will also have good relationships with other family members (成员) and friends.

Some people think that women should always be housewives and men should work outside,  boys don't need to learn to do chores. It's true that men should work hard (make) money for the family, but now women work hard, too. Everyone should do their part  keeping the house clean and tidy.

Home alone? Understand that you're not the only one. More than 8 million people live on their own in the UK. It doesn't mean that you're lonely. But there's a study showing that it may be bad for your health and cause mental (心理的) problems. So if you do feel lonely at times, don't dismiss (忽略) it. Instead, understand what's causing you to feel that way and think about how to reduce(减少)the sense of loneliness.

Make time for people

In my opinion, it is the most useful of the four ways. Volunteering is good for physical and mental health, reducing stress, and taking your mind off your problems. And it also helps you to meet other volunteers. It'll also give you a chance to talk about your voluntary experience with friends and family.

All in all, even though you like living alone, it's worth trying to stay close with your family or friends.
