On October 1st, we went to Wuyishan in Fujian by train. We stayed at a beautiful hotel. It was cool and cloudy on October 2nd. In the morning we climbed the mountains and went to see the waterfall. We were tired, but we were happy. In the afternoon we went on a raft trip . We took some pictures. We had a lot of fun there.

    Mother's Day is in May(五月).

    When Mother's Day comes, I give my mother a present. She is very happy.

    Father's Day is in June(六月).

    When Father's Day comes, I give my father a present, too. He is very happy.

    Children's Day is in June, too.

    When Children's Day comes, my father and mother give me a present, too. I am very happy.

    Teachers' Day is in September(九月).

    When Teachers' Day comes, I give my teachers presents, too. They are all happy.

Mother's Day

    Mother's Day is a holiday for mothers. On this day, mothers don't go to work. It is on the second Sunday in May. It is celebrated （庆祝）in the United States, England, Sweden, India, Mexico and some other countries. On that day, many people give presents to their mothers. If their mothers are still living, they often wear a pink or red rose or carnation（康乃馨）. If their mothers are dead （死亡的）, they wear a white one. The idea of a day for mothers was first given by Miss Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia. As a result of her hard work, the celebration of the first American Mother's Day was held in Philadelphia （费城）on May 10, 1908. Soon the holiday became popular all over the country and around the world.

    A long time ago, a horse lived on the grassland. He was happy every day. One day a deer came to the grassland. She wanted to live on the grassland, too. She said to the horse, "Hello, Mr. Horse. I also want to live here. Can we share (分享) the grassland?" The horse said, "No. This is my grassland. I don't want to share it with you." But the deer stayed on the grassland. The horse was unhappy. He went to a man for help. The man said, "I can help you, but you should let me ride you." The horse thought, "I will let him ride me and then he can help me drive the deer away."

    After this the horse realized (意识到) that he had become to a slave(奴隶) before the man drove the deer away.
