There are many beautiful buildings in downtown Toronto. Yonge Street is the longest street in Canada. There are a lot of shops on this street. My favourite bookshop is there. Next to the bookshop is a cinema, and there is a bank next to the cinema. Across from the cinema there is a library. There is a big lake in Toronto called Lake Ontario. You can see the sports stadium near the lake. The CN Tower is near the stadium. There is a famous restaurant next to the stadium. If you get lost, you can go to the police station. It's near the park, next to the subway station.

Li Ming wants to buy some gifts for his mother and cousin in China. He goes to a shop. He buys two dresses for his cousin and some dishes for his mother. Now he needs some boxes. Jenny gives the boxes to Li Ming. Li Ming says thanks to Jenny and writes letters to his mother and cousin. Then Li Ming goes to the post office and buys four stamps. He thinks that his mother and cousin will like the gifts. He walks back to his house. He feels happy.

The USA is the fourth largest country in the world. It is smaller than Russia. Canada and China. Washington D.C.is the capital. But it is a quiet city. New York is the biggest city in America ana it's one of the biggest cities in the world. It is in the east of the USA and at the mouth of Hudson River. A large part of the city is on Manhattan Island, a big island in the river. New York has a larger population than Washington D.C. In New York we can see the famous status, the Statue of Liberty.
