Mike is travelling(旅行) across the country in his car. One evening he wants to find a small hotel. He sees an old man."I want to go to Sun Hotel," he says."Do you know it?"

"Yes,"the old man says."I'll show you the way." The old man gets into Mike's car. They drive for 12 miles. When they come to a small house, the old man says,"Stop here."Mike stops and looks at the house.

"But this isn't a hotel," he says.

"No," the old man answers."This is my house. Now I'll show you the way to the hotel."The old man points at the road behind him.

"Turn around and go back nine miles. You'll see the hotel on the left."

Mrs Smith is a friend of mine. She comes from America. She lives in China now. She's on holiday. This afternoon I meet her on River Road. She wants to go to the post office to post a letter to her son, but she doesn't know the way. I tell her that she can take Bus No. 9 and get off at the fourth stop. The post office is next to City Library. Mrs Smith says she would like to go to the shopping centre later, and I tell her the way too.
