Saturday, 18th March

It was sunny today. Lily and I visited the Science Museum. It is far away from our homes, so we met at my house and went there by underground together.

We arrived at the museum at 9 o'clock. At the museum, we saw a lot of interesting things. We touched a wall, and it became a window. The robots there were amazing too!

We met some classmates and friends there. We learnt a lot about science.

We left the museum at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

    Mr Li is a good painter. He likes painting animals. One day he drew a beautiful dragon without eyes. Mr Zhou looked at the picture and said, "The dragon has no eyes. It isn't a good picture." But Mr Li smiled and said, "If I add eyes to the dragon, it will fly away." Mr Zhou shook (摇) his head and said," It is ridiculous (荒唐的)! I don't believe (相信) you." Mr Li wasn't angry. He held the paintbrush and added eyes to the dragon. The dragon really flew away.

Bangkok is the capital (首都) of Thailand. It is very different from Guangzhou. There are many temples (寺庙) in Bangkok. It is hot all year round, so there are a lot of fruits. The most (最) famous fruit is durian (榴莲). There are many rivers in the city, so the market on the water is very famous. You can buy flowers, vegetables, fruits and other things on the boats.

The best time to visit Thailand is at the beginning of April, because it has the most important festival in Thailand—the Water Festival. It is the beginning of their New Year. Before the festival, people clean their house and cook nice food. During the festival, people sing, dance and throw water on each other. They think that water can clean away bad things and bring good luck. How interesting it is!

I am John. Yesterday I had a lot of fun. I went to the park 1 my parents. We took Mike with us. Mike is a lovely dog with two big eyes and a big black nose. In the park, we saw many kinds (种类) of 2 and butterflies (蝴蝶). At noon, we had a picnic 3 a tree. Mike 4 very happy and ran here and there. After the picnic, my parents and I took many photos in the park. At four o'clock in the afternoon, we went home. What 5 interesting day it was!
