My hometown is a small town. It has changed a lot these years. Now please look at two pictures of my hometown.

Shenzhen is a big city now. It is very clean and beautiful. There are many tall buildings and big supermarkets. And there are many beautiful parks and interesting cinemas.There are lots of buses and cars in the streets. People go to work by subway (地铁)or by car.

But forty years ago, Shenzhen was a small village. It was not so clean. There were lots of small houses. There weren't tall buildings or big supermarkets.There weren't any parks or cinemas I here weren't many buses or cars in the streets. People were very poor (贫穷) then. People lived by fishing.
