On weekends Peter's family from Chengdu 2 enjoy doing some outdoor activities like riding. But last weekend was 3 — they went to visit the Chengdu Giant Panda Museum. It 4 them about 30 minutes by car.
The museum was first 5 to the public on March 3rd, 2021. With a built area of 7,179 m² and a display area of 4,342 m², the 6 is believed to be the world's first interactive-experience(互动体验) one with a giant panda theme. Peter learnt much about giant pandas. 7 , he knew that French man Jean Pierre was the first Westerner to discover giant pandas in 1869.
