Different from other directors, Yang was a medical student who was (感兴趣的) in cartoons. At the age of 21, he (期盼)to make a cartoon. His friends, however, all (建议)him to give up.
But their advice didn't change his mind. He did his best to make his dream come true. He (创造)his first cartoon in 2009 and it won more than30 prizes.
Yang started working on his Nezha film in 2015. His (自己的) experience (引领)him to decide on the idea: Be the master (主人) of your life. Yang drew this cartoon character to (满足) both older people and children. Nezha is not a (英俊的)boy in the film. But he is (聪明的) and brave. By being the master of his life, he becomes a great (英雄).
