Every year, students in our school take part in the performing arts competition- Group Chorals. It's part of our school Group Programme. In the competition, students sing, act and dance in one of the best (theatre) in Australia.
This year the subject for our group's performance was Harry Potter. After three weeks practice, we finally went on stage(上台) that day.
My task was to sing in the choir(合唱团). When it was time, we sang the song Magic described the happiness Hary felt when he (successful) became a wizard (巫师). The song (write) by a US singer. On stage, I tried (keep) smiling while singing, as our leader told us to in fact, I was really nervous. And I could say others felt the same way. However, after we started singing, we felt a little bit more (relax). As the story went on, we sang. another two songs.
We watched performances of the other groups after our show. All groups had their own strong points. Our group only got second place the end, but we were happy with what we did.
