It was very hot and dry in summer. The sun was shining all day. A crow （乌鸦） was very thirsty. It saw a little water in a jar （罐子）. The mouth of the jar was too small. The crow's mouth was too big. So it couldn't get the water. The crow thought, "How can I get the water?" Suddenly it had a good idea. It collected small stones and dropped them into the jar. The water in the jar rose （上升） and rose and the crow could drink the water. It was very happy.
