Dear Eighth Graders，
These days you are taking a number of important tests. there is something more important that you need to know: These tests can't measure (衡量) all the things. Your results from these tests will not tell you everything.
There not any tests to measure how kind you are to your friends, or how much you love to draw. The results don't show how helpful you are to your mom and dad or how friendly you are when playing others in the playground. They don't know how bravely you share your weekend stories with your friends or your performance in sports, music and art. Besides(除此之外), these tests will not measure how much you have improved on something, how much you love a certain(某一) subject. There is no test for these things!
We hope you can know about these and try best. Always remember that there is no test in the world that can measure all the wonderful things to make you, YOU!
